Please tell us who did that....please

If i told you that i'd have to ......

Nah i recently found it in my old mans training box, when he used to work in my grandads garage repairing saws he saved a few exeptional chains to show students how not to do it, as u can probably tell, this guy had the chain on back to front and tried sharpening the depth gauges then wondered why it wouldnt cut:laugh1:

here is another gem

:confused1: How'd they manage that one. Unbelievable. I know I've sometimes put my chain on the wrong way round cos I've been too busy thinking about something else but nothing to this extent. Any more?

Only time i put a chain on backwards, or my spikes on the wrong way is when a lovely lady walks past and distracts me :sneaky2::blushing:

Those chain pictures really made my toes curl - they would rip the flesh out of the user by filing down to the rivits. They are brill examples of what must happen in alot of cases.

I knew an old boy on an estate who chain smoked and had an old worn 026 that smoked with him as they worked together, the other guys put his chain on backwards to see how long it would take for him to notice - about 2 days:blushing:

When I done my chainsaw course a boy on that was sharpening his chain like the one in the first picture!

He also thought that the foam ear defender dispenser was a sweetie machine!

Flooded his chainsaw!

Started walking towards my hung up tree but couldn't hear me shouting at him because he still had ear defenders down!

Needless to say he didn't pass the course.
