steering problem on 4x4

sounds like a bent steering arm to me dude. i have heard of rangers bending bottom wishbones too. has it had a rack put in it? if it has and this wasn't centalised before it was installed then the problem you have would happen. just a thought?

I must have the only landrover other than Dean Lofthouse which doesnt leak water in or oil out and never breaks down....well once in 9 years:001_rolleyes:

if it was a landrover the steering pump would be leaking:001_tt2: as would the sunroof, the windows ,the door seal:lol:

 

will ask mr. - firewoodman, as our mates got one , and mr. may know something to look at.

Yeah but the dop arm on the steering box on a landrover is master splined so that you dont fit it incorreclty LOL

just in case you would like to know what the problem was...............

 

the tracking!!!! the numpty who owned previous tightened up the tracking all the way on the one side and all the way out on the other. £45 later and the guys down the garage did lazer tracking and sorted it, and corrected the steering wheel. All works fine now
