Found this jem, Ive been after one for ages, Finally found one in the UK for £60 delivered but now Fiskars make a longer handles version called the X27 so i might just hang on until they are in the UK.

 

Someone here on this site should be selling Fiskars axes:thumbup:

I know! But with the postage and no doubt the VAT and what they charge for the privilage of collecting the VAT, I will wait.

 

They seem to be raving about these axes on AS.

as far as i was aware, they were due for re-release in the UK in the new year, but have yet to make an appearance. should be able to pick them up in B&Q when they re-surface. also branded as wilkinson sword and gerber

Did you try calculating shipping/VAT costs on ShopUSA, shop online in USA, receiving address, forwarding parcels and packages worldwide for products purchased online in the US

 

It may well be a lot cheaper than you think, and you get no surprises on VAT/charges. The amount quoted is what you pay. All inclusive, delivered to your door.

I bought some files for doing square chain and got nailed and a Hitachi Impact wrench and was nailed again, I think it was £10 just for the privilage of charging me the VAT!

Just ordered an X27 from Bailey's today.....shipping was another $47.60!!!! Will let you know how much tax I get stung for and will do a review in due course......
