I've just watched a gang of Spanish highway workers fell some ash trees on the roadside sinage about 50 M from the works , no PPE ect.I'M subbing out as foreman on the local authority forestry crew & the lack of professional - level skill & knowledge is staggering - most of 'em dont even cut a gob & have no idea what aid tools are - as for PPE two of the lads refuse to use earmuffs as they "like to hear what the engine is doing"!

Each to their own, when they're not working with me.

Chainsaw trousers will help protect you from your saw. But when climbing over branches and kneeling on uneven rough surfaces they offer more comfort than a pair of jeans!

Funny how people wear goggles and not trousers though, why don't they just close their eye's or look the other way when cutting????

Dragon Jeans ? often wondered if the Kelvlar motorbike jeans would offer a level of chainsaw protection, for experienced users on a hot day:confused1:
