I reckon experienced tree surgeons are at their best between 25 and 35 years of age.

 

I'm 32. LOL.

 

I sub a climber who's in his early 50's and hes really quick and going strong. He also climbs mountains. Fit as a fiddle.

 

nice to hear hes still doing it at the age of 50!!!!

i hope i can do the same

they are worth their weight in gold.....the single best investment ive made in climbing gear in the past 2 years. they do get stuck like any cambium saver...you gotta be picky with your placement. if im in doubt i'll normally retrieve it half way down and re-anchor so i dont have to go all the way back up should it get stuck.

 

but the way i see it, in the meantime it makes my climbing 100% more enjoyable, if i have to go up the odd time to retreive it so be it
