Hi guys,

Was actually thinking about this today as I learnt my cousin lives about 5 minutes away in Chiswick (usefull for once). I was wondering if a meal/BBQ/or something. If this has already been suggested and I've missed it sorry boys :blushing: But other wise do people like the idea of some bait and beer after a hard day of tree porn?

Sam :biggrin:

Hi the suggestion is a picnic if its fine as some of us are bringing our children or head off to the local pub if its not very nice weather, should be a good meet...................

The young free and single types can spend time with us at Kew, then head off down the pub if you wish, I'm sure us older folk won't be offended, the main thing is we all have a good day........

Are you going to be our tour guide for the day, Lee? I have images of an exasperated head master trying in vain to keep some sort of order and herd his over exited charges :lol:

Although it's been a few years since my "friends" pass has expired, I know Kew quite well if you want a hand.:biggrin:

There are no local campsite with good tube links to Kew gardens, given that Kew is at the end of the district line near Richmond. If you are determined to camp try sites in and around Windsor on the M4 and the National train network. There are loads of cheap hotels and B & B locally at Richmond, Twickenham and Heathrow on laterooms or agoda.

The head of of Arb at Kew is Tony Kirkham, I have meet once or twice at Arb events but do not know him personally. I have been on the 11:00 tree walk, I think it would be very interesting to witness the walk in the mass company of the Arbtalker's.:001_rolleyes:

Here is Tony's Kew web page;
