crack in cast valve block solutions please

cant quite see but it looks if it is in slices may beable to just buy the slice you need maybe even able to get it bare to save money and use your internals !

 

other than that a good fab shop may be able to weld or bronze a piece or the broken bit back on but there would be issues with heat andstrength of the repair ! also you will have to strip it out to do it so you dont damae the seals etc !

You might be able to get away with a longer bolt and use a really thick washer David.

 

Cast is a pillark to weld, but you might be able to get a tack weld on it and tack it onto the steel back plate and then bolt it with a thick washer for extra security.

 

Best thing to tack weld it with is mig and stainless wire

Each lever appears to be connected to the valve casting by a c-shaped rod ,a flat plate and two split pins.

 

If you take of these parts and make up three more flat plates you can replace the pivots on the casting with a bolt of about 5" long and replace the pivots on the levers with 3 short bolts.

 

It will take a minute or two but it can be done in place with no welding:thumbup1:
