I was lucky enough to find a 1945 S&J Kitchen bill hook at a boot sale for a quid. It's got the British Army arrow stamp and a weighted nose, which I'm told all the army bull hooks had. The weight allows you to swing a heavy blow just where the blade starts to curve. Holds a mean edge but i did have to grind the bevels down.
