Got a big smelly dirty Pop to come down soon its even got its own lake round the base . Not to mention all the muddy grass . Still its in need of rigging down as theres a listed building ever so close . So I dont want to mess my decent lowering line up . Choices are

16 mm 3 strand Nylon 30% stretch Breaking load 5300kg .

16 mm 3 strand Polyester 10% stretch Breaking load 4766kg .

Prices are similar with nylon cheapest . Will be factoring this rope in the quote .

Why 16mm well if we get the job the rope can then be used for felling and stump pulling .

Nylon for stump pulling to much stretch perhaps . But it will do for felling . Polyester seems to be top so far . Would just like to hear what you guys think . Ive never used 3 strand polyester before .:001_smile:
