That's what I have been using. Was just wondering if anyone has been playing about with shorter Burrys for e2e's. Just out off interest more than anything.

I was using op for a while but thought I was a bit harsh on the rope, Sirius seems to be a bit softer but still lasting a good while. Also it's CHEAP lol

I really like sirrius 8mm. I spliced some up into an eye 2 eye but havent whipped it yet. Teufelburger have there own splicing instructions on there website which are good. It was quite easy to splice and the only 8mm I have spliced.

I like to think that a cheaper softer more replaceable cord will help reduce wear on rope. The sirrius is my favorite on blaze and xtc at the moment. It also makes an excellent footlock prussik.

Just got some sirius to make some rope tools with, have trouble splicing it though seems to bunch up alot at the cross over when Im pulling it through with my wire fid. I am using class 1 Double Braid splice. Seems a lot tougher to splice then 8mm armor prus :confused1: any tips would be good :thumbup1:
