To be honest the surface is very fresh and hasn't been properly weathered/bedded in so the stone is going to be loose on top until it either gets crushed up or moves to the side naturally. Its the road bike brigade doing the complaining because they have such skinny tyres and thin tread the small stones puncture the tyres. But they would also complain if they got punctures on the roads as well so we cant win

 

Well Mat, it is clearly a trail way and could be argued not ideally suited to road bikes with skinny tyres. You can't please all the people all of the time Mat. Good work mate.
