Just as a thought and not wanting to be negative.

How would a system like this be seen from an employers or a HSE point of view.

I believe concerns over best practice and approved methods need consideration but will totally agree the industry needs look forward

good point, hard to say, but it is a solid rig, and when backed by a stopper knot, pretty much fool-proof.

that is why i like my boss, I look back at him every morning in the mirror:001_cool:

One more short vid to show the set-up, but dayum....it was cold...-35c :) but I love this thing so much I wanted to share with you guys ;) lol

this one shows the set-up to footlock the doubled access line with the SW replacing the the prussik and the rigged DRT line replacing the tether.

How do you retrieve the foot lock line?

Use a longer SW, tie it in a VT/MT or similar, tie a separate stopper knot in each leg of the FL line. Retrive the SW as you would a normal 2 ring cambium saver, pull the FL line out.

yep :)

or you could just descend on an "8" backed up by the SW.

but that entails going back up to it.
