You want to put that krab in the center hole.

 

Why the center the hole I would of thought it would make the pully off center and the rope would not run as smooth as it would rub up the karb?

I wouldn't want krab pressing against knot and was just the way o was shown seemed to have worked well for me keeping it all slighty separate.

You can use the top biner in either hole.Ive just changed from the top to middle,(depends on what hitch cord im using as one is a little shorter than normal)

 

Again personal preference.
