Whilst doing another job today i came across this oak on a fence line between 2 properties. at first glance i thought what a nice specimen and such a good tree in the situation. On further inspection one of our lads noticed a "slight" defect with it.... beeing local authority employees we notified the householder who replied, "its been like that since we moved in" im guessing that would have been over a year or so. it would certainly be interesting to clear up if it failed.
