Beat me to it :001_tt2:

At least we both agree!!

i have quite a few old stihl's in the garage if they are fetching that money they will be on fleabay the weekend

I would definately get them on the bay mate, they are fetching ridiculous amounts of money, as said, some go for 'new' prices!! I sold a 2006 ms260c and it went for £313 with postage... Not bad considering i paid £150 for it and spent about £30 on it for a new b&c.

Am I missing something other than I was well and truly had?!

some things to consider when selling on ebay - like when the auction is due to end, key words, good pictures, offering postage etc

sometimes you just lucky (or unlucky!)

i bought a 034 for £60 on ebay, then sold it for £140 a few days later

the guy listed it as a 032 and didn't put pics up!

I'm suprised as the 260's normally go for a bomb!! I took loads of detailed pictures, and it had a spare 15" bar and chain with it but that was more or less it, included a couple of files etc. I always list stuff like that to end in the evening. I won my 262xp on boxing day and got it for £160. Obviously people wasn't looking as much over the christmas period.
