I know a bloke that cut his eyeball with a silky whilst climbing.

Thats the second to last thing I would ever want to get a saw THAT close to!

Having cut myself twice with a hedgecutter (funny story)i'd say you'd actually need saw trousers to stop them as went straight through jeans. But its ok it wasn't that bad.

I thought any body working more than 1.8m off the ground if on ladders or rope was supposed to have as second person there to raise alarm if any injuries occure.aspecialy with sharp tools

I'm not sure you can work alone (using power tools) at all.

the injuries sustained from a silky can be worse than a saw as people dont wear the correct ppe and become complacent since there is no noisy engine
