I have been burning around 80% willow this year .Our stove is going every day from around late sept - late april .

It does burn quicker but gives of a fantastic heat . I have been given around 2 ton which i have cut and split and stacked on pallets for next winter . I will take as much from my mate as he can give me .

Gave some to neighbour few days before christmas as he had got a net of damp logs from the petrol station .He said it was lovely and toasty in their living room .

So i say

We bought in two artic lorry loads a few years back of willow in early spring. It was cut at 40",split stacked on pallets in a long row with tin over the top.We started cutting on the bandsaw in the autumn and selling.Everybody who tried the willow wanted more.It was very dry.
