Well I have taken stump grinders through houses and over walls but this was the first time I have used one from a scaffolding tower.

The job was to grind 7 wrc stumps below ground level the trouble was they were on a steep bank with a vertical drop, working out a plan of attack took longer the the actual job did but Ill know for next time.

Not looking for a pat on the back  just thought Id share the story behind the tree, When I first shaped it 20% of the limbs were wind damaged or dead and the owner was in 2 minds regarding having it out .

Thankfully he gave it a chance and I have enjoyed nursing the old girl back to health.

As the only tree in a cul-de-sac of 30 bungalows its a Mecca for the birds, boring story maybe but always nice to be able to go back to trees every couple of years and see them respond to a little bit of tinkering.

Spent the last 3 days bashing 16 pops back into shape. Friday was rain saturday and sunday the sun shone, then today (monday) on a the birch removal we had 40 mph gusts coming off the sea and snow! I love the British weather
