Hi!

Yet again I´m calling for the knowledgable....!

Cant for my life think of what it is?:confused1:

 

Any ideas?

 

Low down on a big lime growing on two sides of the tree, on one side the bark is dead and on the otherside there is som visable decay.

Looks like Pleurotus to me, I've seen loads this year in the south east, not on lime though. They look well past their best, shame, very tasty! I could be wrong though :/

Thats the only one I could think of with the gils...but I have never seen it on Lime around here! And never seen any wrinkeled up ones before so nothing to compare with.

I would of thought one of the Pleurotus as well Tobias.

 

Well then... I'll settle for that then if the Hama doesent have another opinion...(or anyone else:blushing:)

The brown on the bark?

Its what happens when you give dead bark with white rot behind it, a few whacks with the ol' hammer:blushing:
