Just looking through SherrillTree's you tubes video's. Not come across an up side down Klemheist knot surely the weight is displaced down wards?? or is it because its Americain.:thumbup1:

looks like a normal Klemheist to me once tied. hasn't he just tied it arse about tit?

Does it matter if you coil up or down the rope?

 

You still end up with a coil round the rope.

Not to say it won't work but definitely not a klemheist.

 

Looks like one to me... he just ties it differently from the usual way and he is using a spider leg.

yeah but it is only tied differently, he dresses and sets it is the correct orientation.

 

It looks exactly the same to me just another turn round the rope. (or 1 less turn in the link you put up)

Good spot steve, it does appear to be the hedden knot. Which I didnt even know existed until i saw that. Does anyone have any experience of using this knot? Looks like it might be worth a try for certain applications.
