1, I dont like guns, they're dangerous

No there not. I could have a loaded gun pointed at my head for a hundred years and still be fine, its muppets pulling the trigger that VERY RARELY cause incidents.

2, Especially around a group of testosterone laden alpha male tree surgeons, all trying to be harder than each other.

You speak for yourself on that one. There is a time for banter and a time for seriousness. I have held a FAC for nearly 4 years and a SGC for nearly 8, I have taught many friends to shoot who you have a great laugh with most of the time but it change when you play with guns.

I instruct people weekly on safety/shooting ethics/ best practice on various live quarry shoots and the mood on the drive is very different to that in the pub after.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean, there are very few people that I feel safe around. Whenever I'm out shooting with someone that I've never shot with before I find myself forever watching what they're doing and not really enjoying the shoot myself.

I've been shot once, peppered twice and nearly killed at point blank once.

Still love shooting and think it's ultra safe compared to driving :001_smile:

Where do you shoot Dean ? "Sangin"

So you'd gladly sit in a sealed room with a chimpanzee holding a loaded automatic then?

Anyway, keep your pants on, that was the best bite I've had in years, cheers:001_tt2:
