Facom is the french equivelent of Snap on.

 

I think it is Sykes Pickavant that do halford stuff .

 

Either.....or.....it doesn't really matter, whoever make them, they are excellent semi pro tools :thumbup1:

 

 

 

Stanley works (as in the hand tools people) own Facom, Facom own Britool & Sykes Pickavant (and a few others)

Facom are good and more sensibly priced than Snap-On. Over 20 years (fifteen of which I worked as a full time mechanic) I've collected Snap-on (majority), Sykes, Britool, Teng, Facom, Stahlwille and Taskmaster.

The quality and feel of Snap-on can't be beat IMO. However,that kind of quality and outlay is not necessary, unless you're working for NASA maybe.

I've only ever bought a spanner from the Snap-on van, an E8, for doing the old Laguna D cam belt (yeah the one with the 4.2hr book time) . I just can't cope with the prices.
