Sachs Dolmar 112

Hi, just been given an od red Sachs Dolmar 112 - in bits! I'm putting it back together for fun. Looks a tidy balanced saw. Anyone know the carb setting or has a copy of the manual?

These have points ignition which needs a special tool to make setting easier. The points setting is fairly critical for best performance. The carb settings are also tricky to get right, but when these are on song they are a cracking saw. My mate's first saw was a 112 and it

did a huge amount of work with very few problems. I may be able to source a manual and some other bits . Will pm you if I find anything.

Weren't some of the last 112s electronic tho? What date is his machine? As you say, tuned right = sweet sweet saw. Did my NPTC with one.

If its of any help,i could dig out my manual for a 111,carb settings may be the same for you to look at,if all else fails worth a try.

I have a manual for the 113 and 116.

 

The 113 has the same stroke, bore and displacement as the 112.

 

Basic settings are (H)=1 turn and (L)=1.1/2 turns for the 113 and 116
