Barn Shelters

With all this snow about it's made me realise how useful an open sided barn type shelter would be.Does anyone know of any self assembly kits or have plans to build one from telegraph poles or steel girders.

Just google agricultural buildings, you will be inundated.

You can make your own with little more than a pillar drill and a welder. Just find one you like the look of and copy it. Best part about that is that you can add bays later if you need more space.

 

The steel isn’t hugely expensive but a concrete floor (and you will want one sooner or later) can be a budget buster.

If you want something cheaper then how about a WW2 style Nissan hut made from polytunnel hoops, steel sheets and exhaust clamps.
