Danequip stumpgrinders...

Hi,

Any-one any real life experience of this make?

Looking at the 27hp model.

Would appreciate any comments or alternative suggestions...

I've got the 27 and find it great. Small enough to get to most jobs and if you feel like it it will tackle big big stumps too.

I have the large dosco,much the same machine,and they will take on big stuff no worries,danequip are a very helpful dealer,they get a big thumbs up from me!

I have one and it is a good grinder ,its a nightmare to change the oil tho ,any one who has one will tell you . if i were going to buy new i would have the new bandt side winder big boss beech wood has just had one . but danequip do make a good un imo

As above.... great for small to medium size stumps, and will get you through a big one with a bit of elbow grease. If you have a lot of big ones to do, probably be better with a bigger machine. Used to work for a lad who had a pretty old one. Looked like it had taken a fair bit of abuse and still going strong.

Im looking at a Dosko at the mo, he thinks ots a 04 or 05, with kohler engine, any idea what one it could be, and he says it also doesnt have a hours clock, should it have a hour clock?

I had one, but much preferred the Rayco with its bigger wheels, the smaller diameter but wider Danequip wheels make grinding hard work imo, but you can access narrower gates etc with the Danequip [with change of wheels], so bit of a catch 22, all manual grinders need a ply board under the wheels tbh to stop you from rutting, makes for easier grinding too

Anyone used that?
