Looks like a nasty job to do. Bet that root plate went down with a thud.

i spent 2to3yrs working in front of the harvesters on windblown after the last big blow up here........sometimes u get u 10 trees or more still attached to a plate...always a bit worrying which 1 to leave to the end.....surprising some just go dowm slowly others crash down.personally a line of trees all lying on the tree in fronts plate tend to be a bit more dangerous. nice job well done

Yeah...that plate shook the ground when it dropped back. Still had 3 of the trunks on it.
