Petzl Pantin loosening whilst in use ?!?

I've been using the Pantin for a while now, and from day 1 I've had problems with the arch strap extending whilst I'm ascending. Before I take it back to the shop can anyone suggest something I may be overlooking??

 

I don't want to stitch it to size as I use a couple of pairs of different sized boots.

 

Any help greatly appreciated

Velcro. I stitched mine though

Velcro is probably a good shout Drew, cheers. Probably better for me as I have a few different pairs of boots.

get a cmi pantin much better, stays tight and rope locks in, had mine for years

That looks solid.

 

 

I've had a couple of "issues" with the Petzl.
