hmmmmmmmmm.........

i can't really see the difference between a bottle of whisky....and £20

a trip to oz......and a grand in an envelope......

its all back handers, sweeteners, thank you's, call it what you like....

we've done em all....

its all a big game to keep the client happy and coming back.

there's no difference to your nectar, tesco, whatever loyalty card imo

recently did a job for a site manager of a VERY large construction firm.

did a good job, the chap was happy, so happy he recomended us for the next phase

when the junior contracts officer rang, his first words were

"i've been told that you're our prefered tree contractor from now"

£12 K's worth of work later i saw the old site manager again, couldn't thank him enough.

he wouldn't accept a thing, offered to take him and his wife out for a meal, no thanks,

would you like a nice bottle of somthing (i'd have bought him a crate), no thanks, don't drink.

his explanation... You did an excellent job, no hassle, we'll use you every time...

also had the other end of the stick

*******'s wanting cash back for jobs

usually tell em where to go....but depends on the job :blushing:
