Hey

I've just come into ownership of a Bashlin climbing helmet.

The ear defender has been snapped off on one side and i was wondering if anybody could recommend what replacement i should be investing in? Or indeed whether there are any replacements available?

Cheers

Before you spend money repairing it are you intending using it as a climbing helmet?

AFAG 401 says it needs to conform to EN 12492 as a minimum.

The old EN397 standard is no longer considered fit for purpose for climbing due to a lack of lateral impact protection.

I thought the Bashlin lineman helmet was to en397 but I stand to be corrected.
