It is a 4x4 that is actually used for its purpose. We have all done off road driver training. Since i have been working there (coming upto 4 years 6 months) i have only got the L200 stuck once but then got it back out again. Much to the amusement of alot of people as it was on a new section of old railway line we had just cleared kown as Gains Cross. You needed a 25 metre run up to get thru a bit of a bog at the bottom.

Taking a Mog out for chips

 

Thrashing the 4x4 to get it through the boggy bit at the bottom

 

 

 

 

 

No time to think about carbon footprint.

 

Still busy worrying about the Y2K bug and the hole in the ozone layer. Oh yeah, and acid rain, atomic war, running out of whales etc,etc,etc.

Unlike most it would appear on this forum we do take our carbon footprint seriously as it can have a positive effect on our profits. Steps we have already taken include solar drying of timber in polytunnels and zero packaging by using recycled plastic crates and recycled IBC containers all of which goes down well with our green customers. The next phase in our carbon footprint reduction involves the replacement of diesel fuel with woodgas derived from arb waste starting with on farm electric generation then extending to any vehicle using white diesel then finally red diesel.
