just looking for some ideas techniques for srt, mainly involing the kit i have at work which is a lockjack, pantin foot asc, and a hand asc,.

is it possible to rig somthing from that gear?? just thought it would be a good techniuque to have in the back pocket.

i have looked at some set ups but the gear and set up time has put me off.

any thoughts tips would be great cheers carl

You could try setting up a RADS SRT climbing system with your lockjack and a hand ascender. You might need to put a pully bellow your lock jack to redirect it.

 

It would be interesting to know if you could descend smoothly on it, I think you might need to add friction for the descending.

id just buy the croll or kong futura (or any chest ascender) and run a tree frog setup with what you have. Ascend on a specific access line and keep the lockjack for your working line. would that work for you bro?

thanks for all the replys. it seems i need to get a chest assender then, also does anyone know of a set up video of the tree frog??

in this system is it possible to descend halfway through the assecnt??

iam guessing the lockjack dosent work on a single rope.
