Neat enough job mate, you have good skills.

However reducing Birch IMO is not good. If its in a problem place fell it.

It is difficult when working for bosses who spec badly.

I don't like reducing birch myself either, don't think they take it very well (seen some really bad ones)

In this case the customer wanted it out but the housing association wouldn't pay for it so our boss said "top it":sneaky2: paperwork, red tape and beaurocrats (and and bosses who really shouldn't be in tree work) are the bain of my existance sometimes:001_tt2:

but in the cold light of day, she was happy with the result and i didn't top it haha!!

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
