. A visit to the nursery is highly recommended.......

Actually, by ensuring that a standard of production is adhered to, the rest takes care of itself. Educated guessing is no longer needed. You do though have to trust your supplier to some degree!

There is no substitute for getting to know what & where you are buying from.

Try before you buy :001_smile:

I didn't really have to justify my little shopping trip yesterday, we tend to take to much for granted in good old blighty.

It was good to see the resevoirs from where the Trees get their water, the growing horizon that is put together on site with locally sourced brick waste as drainage medium.

The miles of drip tubes that are calibrated to ensure the stock is well watered.

Got to get the best from your greenbacks :thumbup1:

Ah now there's a proper point to argue - but perhaps in a seperate thread. :D

Well please do! I would like to know more of the blasting, I know fineroots are being shot to treeheaven, but they are plentifull after a year of treatment with shootextensions of 30-50 cm so it cant be that bad. But as you said...another thread...:blushing:

I am not certain that there has been that much "scientific" research into the effects of the airspade . :001_smile:

Jesus.....insane, pointless and very rude!

That's on private property innit? You been upsetting the locals David?

i know local authority bods have complained on here before about this sort of thing. Ill be honest and admit I thought it was just a bit of whinging....I kinda need to reassess that eh!

That' not even casual vandalism...every branch!

Xerses....Talking/listening to Glynn Percival last week. He's fairly convinced that the airpick/spade is more use for decompaction than the terratree. I think he cited Ed Gilman as a source for reference here....Hes done a fair bit with massive blowers and structure/stability also....Google is your friend...!
