Did some work for a school last year. They have just sent me an email saying that they are having an extension built (start Sept). There is a Monkey puzzle that needs to be moved if poss due to the extension.

 

No experiance of these what so ever. Dont know the size (will have a look out one night). Has anyone any experiance with them?

There was a mature monkey puzzle transplanted in Towneley park, burnley and the pit was dug with a tree spade. It's taken very well to its location but I wasn't on the job so I haven't had experience with them

i have dismantled several and am always supprised by how heavvvvy they are and dont use your best climbing or lowering ropes but if your going to move it think carefully about how heavy it may be

Pic of the Monkey, not very big but i do not fancy hand balling it.

My boy - in normal hands in pocket mode! - is 6'3" for scale.
