though I wonder if that was a private client and if they felt you had taken enough of, not that they would have been nice had you done more!

 

I would fear two things, firstly if the client said they was happy but next time called in a guy who would take more off em! and the other one, i aint paying till you take more off!

I thought about that when we got those two set up! The ground is really wet, its an old mill race we're renovating full of willow, alder and the odd horse chestnut. The ground is saturated, when you fell anything of any size onto it - you can feel it wobble under your feet from the impact rather than shake, weird feeling.

yes it was a private client, got recomended for the job. was a little out of my usual area, but a passerby stopped and i quoted today to reduce his oak as well.

 

the guy was going off to birmingham and paid in 50s before id even choosen which rope to climb on, but i havnt had a phonecall so i guess hes happy
