no before pics dude, sorry

Imagine it full of deadwood, every single branch, one half of the crown was totally dead and it was looking very sorry for itself.

I remember that thread mate. This was certainly on it's last legs. We've been trying to get the landowner to have it done for months and finally he had us do it and a whole load more on his land as well. It's on the edge of a carpark and people walk and drive under it all day. crazy.

Love working on oaks, would gladly do it everyday.:001_cool:

you can see the spaces on the left and right of the upper crown, there were huge dead limbs there.

Lime Thin out down in Bradford on Avon, got about 100 mature trees in this development to do before January, should keep us busy.

Looks great. Where abouts in Bradford is the development? we work that way every now and again.

Thanks guys. As you come into Bradford on Avon from Bath on the A363 its the first left where a small old Hospital used to be its being turned into A few big houses. Theres a couple of huge Wellingtonias out on the road side, you know the place?

I know where that tree is John...used to walk the dog up there all the time when he was a pup, then they started the plantations and put sheep in there...we were working up at croome court today, in the woodland not far from the lake.
