Where/How do you see the industry going ?

I know what you mean about costing them more we priced a job and they said it was too expensive, they got someone else who got the bar stuck cutting a branch above the conservatory, unbolted the saw and said it was broken. they then asked for money from the job to fix the saw and cleared off. The lady rang us back up to come do the job which we charged more for. Which is why when i get things done ive learned the cheapest way ends up being the most expensive way

Buy cheap and you buy twice springs to mind.

 

I can see the industry being 'cleaned' in a way. The people who can't keep their heads up will go and the stronger and better one man bands and firms will continue. Leaving more work available for the smaller amount of firms still going.

 

I've just set up. So I'm not getting much in. I see all these guys with big tree jobs most days and I have had one in a few months!
