Whilst going through some of my old glass slides this eve I came across this......poss chicken of the woods????

 

Love this shot and would be interested if anybody knew the location??

 

 

Packhouse Bridge, Washburn Valley??? Anybody know it? Is the tree still there?

Would be great if the tree is still there. Any Idea on the age of the photo Sean ?

 

The clothes on the people on the bridge look 20's/30's perhaps?

 

I'm surprised none of the yorkshire boys know this place:confused1:

70 80 years, yes i think it may well still be there!

 

heart rot of oaks is part and parcel of their strategy for a thousand year cycle.

 

would be nice to go see!

 

Some over zealous tree officer probably had it felled years ago due to it being near a well used footpath:thumbdown:
