Not sure im up for it Jon, last time i came down your neck of the woods to drink cider was about 20 years ago.

this is the firewood man who has setup and tells us hes supplying quality wood - is this question a joke!? - lets hope so:blushing::confused1::sneaky2:

 

The point of this thread is that i was throwing into question the real suitability of green ash as a substitute for seasoned logs, Customer opinion seems to vary because thats what they get told by firewood merchants

I think the answer was in your own question unfortunately - green versus seasoned - irrespective of species - what would you choose?
