I'm just looking to see if anyone knows if the oregon powersharp will fit on my Husqvarna 455 Rancher (Husqvarna Group

I've had a look on the powersharp website but I'm still not sure if it'll fit my saw and I'm a home user of chainsaw (not the bedroom like...!) so a bit of a noob when it comes to being able to work out chain pitch etc...

any help would be much appreciated.

Hi

No it won't fit as your chain is a 325 pitch and the PowerSharp only comes in a 3/8 low profile at the moment.

So it's back to the file I'm afraid.:001_smile:

Some years ago McCullock brought out a self sharpen chainsaw. It was a small top handled saw as I remember. But it was removed from service because the chain design promoted kick back. I'm wondering whether the PowerSharp will have similar attributes?

Rats....! Looks great, read some good stuff about it from folks that seem to know what they're on about.

Ah well, maybe they'll bring out a bigger one.

It's aimed at the domestic market, but so far this week I've sold over 15 to the Pro market as it has it's place there as well.

It needs to be seen to appreciate how quick it is. I have been demonstrating it this week by running the chain on the concrete floor of the workshop, 5 seconds sharpening and its back in the wood.

Be quick though if you have a Stihl as we and most other dealers will be sold out by this time next week and the next batch won't arrive until January.:scared1:

Kick back, i was was watching a guy at the APF boring into a log with it and it wasnt having much of it!!!! But then normal chains kick like a beast in that situation too!
