I love the 'simply let the tyres down' answers. Hard to re-inflate on a 44-tonner with a footpump.

 

I know you all meant with full mechanical assistance once the bridge was clear before you start....

Trucks used to have their own airlines to take off the brake air tanks, most manufacturers don't seem to provide them now. I think because these days its not viewed as people can check their own tyre pressures. Only mechanics qualified etc. Yet you are responsible for your vehicle?
