The Ranger does 3Ton

Hilux 2250

But would toyota be being conservative on that so that the machine doesnt get over worked causing faults!?

Looking at the torque the

3.0 Ranger 380Nm

3.0 Hilux 360Nm

2.5 Ranger 330Nm

2.5 Hilux 343Nm

Maybe im not decided! wish i could have each for a week

Why not try and hire each one for a few days off the dealer? Big investment, and it ultimatley comes down to what you feel is reight for you and your work.

The MK6 Hilux double cabs can actually tow 2,800 KGS.

The brochures are incorrect, but if you look at under bonnet, you'll see that they can tow 2,800 KGS

Thankyou, I thought it was abit on the light side, in comparison!

Tomorrow im going to try and spend some time driving the Ranger and the Hilux!

To be sure As its been said its alot of money to make the wrong choice with!

Ive read the older Hilux models drink Fuel!

The New Hilux Is best Mpg in its class!

Hilux 3.0L AT Combined MPG = 31.7

Ranger 3.0L AT Combined MPG = 29.7

Just shows how much better the new engines are!
