fungus id needed please!!!!

Hi all this fungus has popped up within the last week at one of my customers can you tell me what it is and will it affect the hedge as it is growing both sides of it.

Just to clarify what has actually been said in the responses so far ..( these fung boffs like using acronyms and such..its like a code and it rots your brain and renders you unable to communicate with "normal" folk) an to answer your original questions...

Honey Fungus- Armillaria spp ( mellea)- google it.

Quite likely to affect the hedge frankly . Would not recommend doing anything in fact. Not until the hedge is clearly dying and not recovering.

But then you knew that didn't you...! HTH :001_smile:
