Its not just a pile of logs, its the principle, regardless of the value of the goods. There is no excuse, we all do favours for each other and a bit of give and take is a good thing. Even if it will only ever amount to a few logs now and again, and nothing of any real value, do you really want to work with a bloke with this attitude? I wont even use the PPE my employer provides for me to do jobs on weekends etc which arnt for them. Thats just a bit of wear and tear, this is theft.

He probably wont steal from you in any real sense, but in arb you have to trust the people you work with, whether it be with your life when theyre swinging a chainsaw about behind you or with your kit/goods. Personally, I would have nothing more to do with the bloke.

The saddest thing about it all is that for just a few logs this guy has helped destroy peoples faith in new employees.

Im still fairly new to arb and I have been working my jewels to the floor just to prove im worth spending time and money on because people seem to take the mick with employers.

All i want to do is work in arb, but with some peoples lack of respect it has made a sometimes difficult job even harder, im not going to run off with all you kit when your not looking, if you kindly offer me a bag of logs then its a bag of logs i will take not a twig more! and in paying for my tickets you have just given me the key to a job i love for life and if your a good team why would i want to risk losing it by pinching.

Just dont tar me with the theiving, lazy and im doing you a favour just by turning up thing!

The way I see it is he has been given a fantastic oppertunity and stuffed it up by pinching! tell him to buy his own chipper, rent a yard like everyone else and employ someone who is willing do do his job because they love it and not for the perks, god knows there is enough of us out there:001_smile::hello:
