Thats what I put on this time last year on a 40 mtr tunnel and its already splitting in 2 places on the folds. Once the guy from visqueen has inspected it will be repaired with trans tape both internally and externally.

That's a very short life even for visqueen. It always seemed to be a bit prone to splitting on the seam but may be a combination of composition and as as you think mainly rerolling. Providing the seam area is not flapping in the wind it should last at least 5 years without any problems.

They used to offer a percentage depending on how long its been on and how long they say its life is. Suggest you think its only right that they come and help fit a new sheet.

Got tape, our family business from 85-08 involved polytunnels, my job as the youngest/lightest was to climb on top and tape from the outside. We used to get 6-8 years from visqueen covers, one was left on so long that when we finally stripped it it just shattered into fragments.

 

Shame the quality isn't there still.
