i did my 31 about six months ago i used a ms 260 the rest of the guys there all used the 180 i was doing twice the amount of trees

but it a cheap saw and ive seen many use them on cs 30 and 31 so some of the guys on here that are looking at doing 30 and 31 should snap this up i think its a start if they cant afford to buy a bigger saw

Fair one, but won't be much use to them as a commercial saw when they qualify. I know I borrowed a saw from Writtle when I did mine, just assumed other colleges did the same

I think they should save there monney and buy a profesional saw if they are going to be profesionals. My hate for saw under 346 260 size saws is something i cant express enough.

most do but i did mine with basildon council and they had billy robb firm a1 arborist come t do the training and there from kendal so we had to supply the gear im sure there are others out there doing the same
