HI ALL JUST come back from sainsbury and they had a pallet of log nets at the front of the doors on managers special PRICE OF £4.75 PER NET FOR SOFT WOOD :blushing: so i thought I WILL PUT ONE OF BUSSINES CARD ON PALLET all the best happy days jon :thumbup:

Yes & its largest shareholder Lord Sainsbury is being hailed as a great public benefactor by donating 50 million quid to the British Museum.

No doubt his name will be emblazoned in gold lettering over the door of the new extension.

we went to b & q in bury st edmunds this morning and nets of cpl kiln dried hardwood logs were £7.49 each. There wasn't enough in each net to fill our log burner. Also they were selling those foot long briquette logs for £3.49 each and trying to justify them by saying that they last for 2-3 hours. Well woopy doo. I said to my missus about putting one of our firewood cards on the pallet but we hadn't got any on us. can't believe that anyone actually buys this stuff.

thats what got me into firewood in the first place.

 

we used to give all our arb waste away. more trouble than its worth.....

 

was in FOCUS one sunday, a few years back.

they had a pallet of nets by the till....£5-00 odd a net

 

i said to the wife, "HA !!, bet they don't sell many at that price.."

 

the lad on the till said "Think again mate, thats he second pallet load today !!!!!!"

 

FFS, been selling em ever since...
