Would you suggest a new saw?

picked one up with 14" bar for less than £370 at the frjones event last month, +vat, but dont pay vat

 

justins web price is only £392+vat 14" bar, £385 12"bar

just spotted a chap selling one on ebay, brand new in box, selling for his mate..... but its his mates brother who's a tree surgeon.... sounds like a load of codswallop but he wants 400 quid, maybe a little less....

 

it sound dodgy? does a little but its still a saving? or stay away?

Saw some good deals at last years AA show...£100 off most saws, no reason to think the APF will be any different.

5 years is fairly ancient for an 020/200t - buy a new one, a couple of weekend foreigners will soon pay for it!
