One of five fine fruitings around that oak this year, the most I've ever noted on it.

Was speaking to the man fom the 'Jodrell' about it only yesterday.

 

It's the oak with the lab stumper on the wound up aloft.

There still there but not 100% prime.

Drove past this hornbeam earlier today and spied in the corner of my little eye, something begining with.............'Ger'

 

 

A fine rack of Ganoderma resinaceum

 

We pulled over and recorded it for posterity.

Put something in the shot for scale in the last picture.

Why did my resinaceum, on the turkey oak, look like that? That's how I ended up going with lucidum... :blush:

 

Nice find:thumbup: its not often you see leprechauns dancing behind trees:biggrin:

Because it was specifically trying to confuse you.

Did ya note the green & orange mold on the edge of this mornings resi?

 

Not seen that before.
