sure this has been covered before, but is train weight max 23.9 tonnes no matter what. Or is it greater with air brakes and less with hydraulic brakes etc etc. Fastrac says is can tow 18 tonnes which would be over 23.9,

I think that will be JCB's max design tow weight.

 

As far as I know 24t is max train weight for Ag vehicles.

 

you think it would be more for air braked vehicles, you could register your mog HGV and increase this I presume.

With air brakes they allow you to go faster with the 24t, 40mph instead of 20mph with hydraulic brakes.
